About Us
Kerry Harvey-Piper
With a background in marketing and PR, Kerry runs the label and artist management side of Red Grape.
Through her guidance, artists have signed label and licensing deals, publishing contracts, sync licenses, accessed independent funding, international touring and showcases. She works both with developing artists at early stages and well established artists, in particular helping to re-focus their careers at significant crossroads. Kerry is currently on the Board of the UK Music Managers’ Forum (MMF) and is a former Board member of the Association of Independent Music (AIM). She is a member of several international judging panels and has presented at numerous music conferences. She is a mother and stepmother of 6 grown-up children and has a strong interest in supporting parents working in music.
Calum MacColl
Calum is a musical director, producer, songwriter and guitarist who has worked with international artists for over 35 years.
Calum runs the production and studio side of Red Grape. As a son of folk legends Peggy Seeger and Ewan MacColl (and half-brother to Kirsty MacColl), he has been playing music and singing almost since he was born. From touring with his parents as a child he later went on to produce many of their albums. With over 1000 playing, writing and production credits to his name, he’s also been in bands signed to Chrysalis Records, Rough Trade, Polydor, Universal, BMG and Sony. He has written & produced music for TV and corporate projects, and had his songs covered by well-known artists including The Backstreet Boys. In 2015 Calum and his mother won the BBC Radio 2 Folk Award for ‘Best Original Song’. His long-term musical partnership with Colin Vearncombe (aka Black) included touring, album production and song-writing. He is a father and stepfather to the same 6 children as Kerry and they jointly own a Sprocker spaniel that is probably a child substitute now that the kids have left home.

Praise for our social media review service:
‘Kerry’s advice was really detailed but not overwhelming. She quickly became intimately aware of our online presence – the goods and the bads – and sent succinct notes which I continue to reference. Her review was both broad and narrow, with guidance on branding, language choices, techy social media stuff and more.’
Girl Named Tom (Winner, The Voice USA 2022)
‘Thanks to the thoroughness of the Digital Review that Kerry has undertaken for us, & her helpful, clear advice – I can highly recommend Kerry & Red Grape Music to anyone who might similarly be looking for such invaluable, constructive help & additional positive guidance.’
